Resident guests of The Bath Priory are able to enjoy complimentary use of the comprehensive facilities that The Garden Spa* has to offer and, by appointment, can enjoy one of a range of relaxation or beauty therapies. The Bath Priory is set to pleasantly surprise you with a collection of fine paintings and antiques in contrast with some of the latest communication and wireless Wi-Fi technology, essential to today's traveller.
ROOMS
We are proud of all 31 bedrooms, which are luxurious, and en-suite. Some rooms look over the front of the house while others enjoy stunning views over our south facing 4 acres of landscaped gardens. Each room has been individually designed and is named after a flower.
Carnation has fantastic views over our garden, a dressing room and a four-poster bed, while Azalea can be found at the top of a spiral staircase. In our Heather and Lilac rooms, you will find a small balcony that overlooks the gardens and beautiful marble bathrooms.
THE RESTAURANT
Fine food and wine are an integral part of The Bath Priory and we pride ourselves on our high standard of service. Our light and elegant restaurant overlooks the award-winning gardens which provide the perfect backdrop for any occassion.
Executive Head Chef Michael Caines MBE is one of the UK’s highest profile chefs and has held two Michelin stars at the Bath Priory’s sister hotel Gidleigh Park, Devon, since 1999. He has created a very personal yet classic style of cuisine that utilises the finest West Country produce and ingredients to produce innovative and exciting modern European cuisine of the highest order. Sam Moody (who previously worked under Michael at Gidleigh Park) is the Bath Priory’s new Head Chef.
The kitchen team works closely with Head Gardener and Chelsea Medal winner, Jane Moore, to develop menus, using the ingredients from the Kitchen Garden. Since joining The Bath Priory in February 2009 Michael has introduced a whole range of new menus, including an Early Dining Menu (available from 6pm – 7.30pm) and two superb seven-course Tasting Menus. Alfresco dining on the terrace is also available and a ‘Chef’s Table’ – a private dining room for up to 8 guests.

THE GARDEN SPA
The newly refurbished Garden Spa opened in September 2009 and boasts four state-of-the-art treatment rooms, including a dual treatment room perfect for couples or friends, a new pool, steam pod, sauna and fitness suite. The perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.
