Tilleys is situated in the centre of Bath close to the Abbey, Roman Baths and the Theatre Royal. Spread over three levels, the restaurant comfortably seats 70 and offers a French-biased but very varied menu, which delivers fresh quality food at affordable prices. Conference & Function Room
We have a Function room on the first floor, which is available for private hire; for conferences, meetings, gatherings, buffets, wedding receptions, and private lunches and dinners. Adjoining the Function room is a private bar and Lounge. Smoking is allowed in this area.

We only offer set menus in the function room, and we can put together a menu that suits your personal requirements.

The room hire is £50.00. Tea / coffee and biscuits are £3.50 per head.

This page is intended for new customers and newcomers to Bath, however, regulars to Tilleys may also find it of use.
The restaurant is split between 3 floors. The ground floor restaurant has disabled access, and seats 14. The basement restaurant is much larger; it has seating for 46, some natural light, but no disabled access. The Conference Room and Lounge Bar are situated on the first floor; there is no disabled access to this floor.

For lunch, we offer a 2 or 3 course set menu. Each course has 4 choices available, including some vegetarian options. 2 courses £11.50 or 3 courses £14.00. Bread and butter, and vegetables are included in the price.
In the evening, we offer an extensive a la carte menu, which comprises of at least 36 dishes. Varying in size from small to medium to large; the prices range from £4.00 - £18.00. At least 12 of these dishes are vegetarian / vegan.
We also offer a very simple pre–theatre menu. The menu is designed with the theatregoer in mind, and consequently it is served very promptly. The menu usually changes daily, and has one starter and one main course. It is priced at £10.00 and includes bread and butter, and vegetables. The Theatre Royal is a level 5 to 6 minute walk from Tilleys, across the Abbey Courtyard and then down Westgate Street.
On New Year's Eve we offer a 4 course set menu. There is an early sitting and a late sitting. Reservations only.

We accept most major credit / debit cards, personal cheques (supported by a Bankcard), travellers cheques (with passport), and cash.
We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in the restaurant areas. Smoking is allowed in the Lounge Bar on the first floor.
Special dietary requirements
If you have any special dietary requirements or food allergies, please notify our restaurant staff before you order, and we will be happy to advise you on your choice. Most of our dishes are cooked to order, so if there is a specific ingredient that you would like omitted, or added, please ask our staff. Only the main ingredients of each dish are shown on our menus.
Disabled access
Due to the age of the building, access is unfortunately restricted to the ground floor area only. Wheelchairs can be carried into the basement restaurant if you desire; but there is no access to the first floor. Please bear this in mind if you are booking a private party in the Conference room. |
