Decorated with imagination, flair and a sense of theatre far from the 'look-but-don't touch' attitude of many country houses, Charlton exudes an ambience of comfortable, informal splendour, where relaxation comes easily. Each bedroom proudly displays an identity all of its own, with quality and comfort the only features in common. Sumptuous fabrics, luxurious beds and interesting antiques come together to create a style unique to Charlton House.
There are 25 luxurious bedrooms and suites which have been designed to suit your individual requirements. Some are on a grand scale with sumptuous bathrooms, four-poster beds and working fireplaces. Others offer a more intimate atmosphere, and some even have their own secret garden.
All children under the age of 10 staying at the hotel will receive a complimentary gift.

THE RESTAURANT
The Restaurant at Charlton House is renowned for its food. It has received many accolades over the past 10 years and currently holds 3 AA Rosettes.
Presided over by Elisha Carter, “Elisha Carter is a young chef of mercurial genius” , Giles Coren, The Times. Elisha uses the best available of Local, Seasonal and Organic ingredients to create a menu that is both exciting and delicious.
Supplemented on the menu with produce from our own farm, Sharpham Park, including Rare Breed White Park Beef, Hebridean and Manx Loghtan Sheep, and Red Deer. We also offer spelt in its many guises as an alternative to wheat.

MONTY'S SPA
Welcome to Monty's Spa - named after my wife. We first introduced our range of treatments to our guests at Charlton House, our country retreat hotel, in 2002 but could not find existing products that fulfilled our particular needs so we decided to create our own. Our signature range is now used in all our treatments that are designed to relax, de-stress, rejuvenate and contemplate.

Unfortunately we do not allow children under the age of 16 into Monty’s Spa.

THE ORANGERY - for Private Dining and Meetings
With its own private entrance, spacious reception area and private bar, the Orangery is the perfect venue for your special event or business meeting. Fully airconditioned, flooded with light, it has a delightful dual aspect onto the original walled garden and onto the gardens and lawns. The large terrace is a perfect setting for al fresco dining or for an essential coffee break from your business meeting. The Orangery can be used in its entirety to accommodate a theatre style presentation of up to 100 delegates or a dinner party for up to 70 guests. Alternatively, it can be subdivided to create the Boardroom and Garden Room for smaller events.
Wireless internet access is now available in The Orangery and selected rooms
